Korean mint, strong peppermint flavour for teas or salads.

Allium schoenoprasum
Chives, purple flower heads are also edible.

Garlic chives, flat garlicky leaf, ornamental white fragrant star-like flowers late in the year.

Chamomile, scented flowers used for infusions.

Lawn chamomile – runners form a fairly dense fragrant sward for seats lawns or paving. No flowers. Needs good drainage and a low population of snails.

Southernwood, Old Man, grey green hair like leaves on gaunt upright stems.Strongly lemony aroma.

Artemisia absinthium
Wormwood, erect aromatic perennial, finely divided flat silky silvery leaves. Moth repellant properties do not apply to aphids.

Artemisia French Tarragon
Mildly creeping stems, richly aniseed flavoured leaves. Not as hardy as Russian tarragon but infinately superior flavour.

Greater calamint, aromatic foliage with pink flowers, tolerant of a little shade.

Used in the manufacture of fire extinguisher foam as well as being well known confectionary.

Curry plant. Silver foliage strongly aromatic in hot weather.

Robust rhizomatous perennial for a moist soil and sun or partial shade. Cluster of yellow daisies, needs a generous space.

Golden form of sweet bay, look ill at ease in summer but glows brightly and cheerfully in winter.
